Florence

April 7, 2010

A quick walk through the morning sunshine brought us to the TERMINI, the main Rome train station. We boarded a streamlined bullet train to Florence which would arrive just 90 minutes later. What a difference. A week earlier I had driven to Rome from Florence and the trip took nearly 6 hours. Now I would do the same route but in only 1/4 the time and in great comfort. What a way to travel.
